Welcome to the ESL Program at Laredo College!
We’re here to help you build confidence and skills in speaking, reading, writing, and understanding English for everyday life, work, and continued education.

What We Offer

Our ESL program is free and designed for adult learners at all levels of English. Whether you're just getting started or want to improve your skills, we’re here for you.

Class Schedules

We offer in-person and online options (based on availability).

Locations may include:

  • Fort McIntosh Campus

  • South Campus

  • Community Learning Centers

All students must complete an intake and placement assessment before starting.


How to Enroll

  1. Complete the AEL Intake FormSign Up

  2. Attend a Program Orientation

  3. Take a Placement Test (to find the right class for you)

Once your application is submitted, an ESL team member will contact you to guide you through the next steps.

Special Services Center

Any student attending Laredo College who has an impairment which substantially limits a major life activity is eligible to receive services. This includes students with learning disabilities, those who are physically challenged, those with mental health issues and those with other circumstances limiting major life activities.
